How to create a Meta Business account

A Meta Business account (formerly Facebook Business Manager) is required to use the WhatsApp Business API. It is the central hub for managing your business's Meta assets.

Creating an account

1. Go to business.facebook.com and click 'Create account'. 2. Log in with your personal Facebook account (this is for authentication only; your personal profile is not linked to the business page). 3. Enter your business name, your name, and your business email. 4. Follow the prompts to complete setup.

After creation

Add your business details: legal name, address, phone number, and website. These details are used during the verification process.
